Bushra Anjum is a Health IT data specialist working as the Director of Data Science and Analytics at the San Francisco-based startup Doximity. Aimed at creating HIPAA secure tools for clinicians, she leads a team of analysts, scientists, and engineers working on product and client-facing analytics. Prior, she worked for Amazon as a software engineer, architecting large-scale distributed services supporting Prime Membership, with particular emphasis on performance and scalability. Dr. Anjum is a regular speaker at the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing Conference, Richard Tapia Celebration of Diversity in Computing Conference, STARS Celebrations, CRA-WP Grad Cohorts, to name a few. She has been recognized by Tribune as a Top 20 under 40 Professional for career excellence with a deep commitment to community service. Rose Robinson @Executive Tech Consultant
Rose is an Executive Tech Consultant and Trusted Adviser contributing to positive social change to improve lives. Before joining CMD-IT, Rose was Executive Director for CMD-IT (Center for Minorities and People with Disabilities in Information Technology), where she led the organization to ensure underrepresented groups are fully engaged in Computing and Information Technologies, promotes innovation that enriches, enhances, and enables these communities, such that more equitable and sustainable solutions are possible by all communities. Rose also served as Senior Director, Women in Tech Evangelist for AnitaB.org. By stimulating storytelling, thoughtful dialogue, and advocating for true representation in tech, she helped further the organization's mission for 50/50 women in tech by 2025. Rose is involved in social impact projects for criminal justice reform, Computer Science education in minority-serving institutes, and #Cancer advocacy. Farah Ali @VP Technology Growth Strategy, Electronic Arts
Farah Ali is the Vice President of Technology Growth Strategy at Electronic Arts. Prior to joining EA, she served as co-founder and CTO at FreightWeb, a venture capital-backed logistics tech startup working to optimize partial truckloads. Farah began her technical career as an engineer at Microsoft after graduating with a degree in Computer Science. She has held senior engineering leadership roles at Microsoft, eBay, and Electronic Arts. Her engineering experience is both deep and diverse: she has worked on everything from shrink-wrap products to online services, large scale distributed systems, and machine learning & AI. Farah believes in making an impact by championing causes close to her heart. She is the founder and president of non-profit One Good Act (www.onegoodact.org), an organization focused on empowering those living below the poverty line, and a co-founder of Pakistani Women in Computing (www.pwic.org), where she works as advocate for underrepresented populations in STEM.
